SPRING SESSION 2024

This summer, come join STARS in our production of "West Side Story"

Young lovers are caught between prejudice and warring street gangs in one of the most important and powerful musicals of all time.

Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet is transported to modern-day New York City as two young, idealistic lovers find themselves caught between warring street gangs, the "American" Jets and the Puerto Rican Sharks. Their struggle to survive in a world of hate, violence and prejudice is one of the most innovative, heart-wrenching and relevant musical dramas of our time.

Bye Bye Birdie is a delightful homage to the charm and nostalgia of the 1950s small-town America, capturing the essence of an era that has never lost its luster. In this timeless musical, we are transported to a world where teenagers and rock & roll define a generation. Despite the passage of time, Bye Bye Birdie remains as fresh and vibrant as ever.

The story centers around the heartthrob of the era, Conrad Birdie, who receives the life-altering news that he has been drafted into the military. To bid farewell in the most sensational and public manner possible, he selects none other than the quintessential All-American girl, Kim MacAfee, to be the recipient of his farewell kiss. This sparks a whirlwind of teenage excitement and hilarity that forms the backbone of the plot.
